Volunteer Opportunities
Crossover is always on the lookout for volunteers to help out across the 3:16 projects and beyond.
Weekend Breakfasts
Each weekend, Crossover provides Saturday and Sunday morning hot cooked breakfasts to the homeless of Brighton from a central location in Morley Street. If you are able to join the rota for serving with the Crossover team – we’d love to hear from you. If you’re interested in helping out – please contact Daniel and Tamara Jackson .
Saturday Evening Meals
During School Holidays Crossover provides a hot evening meal to the homeless and vulnerable of Brighton on a Saturday evening when another project in the City takes a break. This takes place in St Peters Church car park in central Brighton. If you are able to join the rota for serving with the Crossover team – we’d love to hear from you. If you’re interested in helping out – please contact Daniel and Tamara Jackson .
Events
The Crossover Catering Van, Kitty, is used in various events and functions across the city to help raise funds for the Crossover 3:16 Projects. In order to do this, we need a team for each event who are able to help in one way or another at each event. Ranging from cooking food in the van through to serving and clearing up, we’d love to have you on board. If you’re interested in helping out – please contact Daniel and Tamara Jackson.
Drivers
We are also looking for some drivers over the age of 25 who would be willing to drive the Crossover van, Kitty, to and from the weekend street feeding. The van is based in Shoreham by Sea and would need to be driven to and from the centre of Brighton. If you are able to commit to at least two slots per month – please contact Daniel and Tamara Jackson.
